On July 27, 1988 the bodies of two decomposed males were discovered east of North 14 near the Bernalillo County line. The victims were later identified as Jesus Ramirez and Andrew P. Mc Cumber. The bodies were discovered by individuals on a picnic. Andrew is from the state of Texas, he died of multiple gunshot wounds.
On November 16, 1999, the body of 24 year old Angelique Chavez-Griego was discovered in her apartment, located at Sunset SW. Angelique was murdered and died from asphyxia. She suffered with substance abuse and had been a victim of domestic violence.
On May 11, 1994 deputies responded to the call for an unresponsive male found inside a vehicle at the Petroglyph Monument. The body was removed and later identified as that of 54 year old Errin A. Williams of Corrales, who died from multiple gunshot wounds.
May 11, 1988 the body of a deceased male was discovered in a ditch by a passerby on State Road 333. The body was later identified as 35 year old Lawrence Lucero; he was struck by a vehicle and died of multiple injuries. Lawrence was last seen alive the day before this accident. The driver of the vehicle has not been identified.
On November 28, 1987, two male victims were found deceased inside 1630 Bowe Lane SW. 28 year old Miguel Toquinto died of a gunshot wound to the head. 24 year old Alfredo Palmer died of multiple gunshot wounds. There was forced entry to the front door of the apartment where this incident occurred.
